If you're looking for great nearby pubs be sure to checkout the Greyhound Inn in Stogursey (3 miles) or the Combwich Anchor, located in Combwich (5 miles) and just a stones throw from the Steart Marshes (WWT), one of the UK’s largest wetland reserves. Here you'll find hundreds of hectares of saltmarsh and freshwater wetlands, providing habitat for a rich mix of wetland wildlife including otters, egrets, owls, waders and wildfowl.

Further afield you'll find the large town of Taunton, the city of Bath and Exmoor National Park.
