Drayton - Country pub accommodation

The Drayton Crown also offers accommodation in four luxuriously furnished and spacious rooms (including a family room), all with en suites, king-sized (or twin) beds, television and tea/coffee-making facilities.

A light and spacious function room is available for hire. With direct access to a terraced area and lawned garden it is ideal for wedding receptions and parties, and as a meeting venue for corporate hospitality and small conferences.

Outside there is a large car park and an extensive paved area and beer garden where visitors can make the most of ‘sunny’ Somerset! We have recently added a children’s play area to our garden, for little ones to enjoy whilst adults enjoy one of our lovely beverages.

Make the Drayton Crown your base for exploring the area. There’s so much to see and do. Whether you’re a walker, cyclist, birdwatcher, angler or just want some peace and quiet, you won’t have too far to go to find what you’re looking for.

Within the village are walking and cycling paths/trails; nearby is the River Parrett with lots of carp ponds in the surrounding area; within a ten-mile radius there are a number of historic sites of interest and stately homes and gardens (including Muchelney Abbey, Dillington House and Montacute House) and two RSPB bird sanctuaries to choose from as well as the wealth of flora and fauna to be found on the surrounding Somerset Levels; with Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole caves and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum being only slightly further away.
